Day 1 - Kibale National Park
- Start your journey with a warm welcome at the airport, where your private guide will greet you and begin the adventure. Travel in comfort in a private Land Cruiser as you head west.
- The drive takes you through lush countryside, scenic tea plantations, and local villages — offering a first glimpse into Uganda’s rich landscapes and daily life. Arrive near Kibale National Park, known as one of the best places in East Africa to see primates.

Day 2 - Chimpanzee Trekking
- This morning, head into Kibale National Park for an unforgettable chimpanzee trekking experience (or habituation for $50 extra). With the guidance of expert trackers, you’ll follow signs through the forest until you find one of the habituated chimp families. Once located, you’ll spend one hour observing their interactions—grooming, feeding, or moving through the canopy. It’s an up-close and authentic encounter with one of our closest animal relatives.
- After the trek, continue your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in time to relax and enjoy the views before tomorrow’s safari.

Day 3 - Game Drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park and Boat Safari
- Start your morning with a drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s top wildlife destinations. The park is known for its rich variety of animals, including lions, elephants, buffaloes and leopards.
- In the afternoon, set off on a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, home to one of the world’s largest hippo populations. You’ll glide past massive pods of hippos, crocodiles basking on the banks, and large herds of elephants and buffaloes coming to drink. Few places in Africa offer such consistent and close-up encounters with wildlife.

Day 4: Scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable NP
- After breakfast, check out from your lodge and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, enjoying scenic views of hills, forests, and villages along the way.
- Upon arrival, check in to your lodge and unwind in the tranquil mist of Bwindi's dense rainforest, a truly unique and serene experience.
- For those seeking an adventure, for an additional cost, take part in the Batwa Cultural Experience, where you'll learn about this ancient tribe's traditional lifestyle and deep connection to the forest. Otherwise, relax and prepare for your unforgettable gorilla trekking adventure the next day.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
- Today you’ll trek in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. After a short briefing, set off with your guide into the forest to track one of the habituated gorilla families. Once located, you’ll spend one unforgettable hour observing them up close — playing, moving through the trees, and interacting with each other in their natural environment.
- This is the highlight of any trip to Uganda and an experience that leaves a lasting impression.

Day 6 - Lake Bunyonyi & Journey to Lake Mburo
- Lake Bunyonyi, often called the “Switzerland of Africa,” is surrounded by misty hills and dotted with 29 small islands, each with its own story. This morning, you'll embark on a boat or canoe adventure to explore some of these islands, taking in the stunning scenery and getting a glimpse of local life along the lakeshore. After the boat trip, begin your journey toward the area near Lake Mburo. As you travel, keep an eye out for some of the park’s wildlife, which occasionally wanders beyond its boundaries, as well as flocks of Uganda’s famous Ankole cows with their impressive horns. You'll arrive at your lodge in time to relax and prepare for tomorrow's exploration.

Day 7: Walking safari at Lake Mburo
- Start your day with a walking safari — an exciting and different way to explore the park. Being on foot lets you get much closer to the wildlife, whether it's a group of zebras grazing nearby or a tower of giraffes moving through the trees. With a ranger guiding you, it's a thrilling way to see wildlife in their natural environment.
- After the walk, you'll begin the drive back to Entebbe. Along the way, stop at the Equator for photos and a chance to pick up some local crafts. You’re expected to arrive in Entebbe by early evening.
