Day 1 – Lake Mburo National Park
- Your journey begins with a pickup from your hotel or the airport by your private guide, who brings over 16 years of safari experience. Start your drive south in our safari Land Cruiser, comfortably equipped for road travel and fitted with tablets offering movies for the journey. Along the way, stop at the Equator for a memorable photo opportunity and a quick lunch — a perfect introduction to the adventure ahead.
- Continue your drive to Lake Mburo National Park, one of the best places in Uganda to spot zebras and impalas, alongside giraffes and buffalo. Upon arrival, check in to your accommodation, relax, or continue your adventure with an exciting evening game drive as you begin exploring this unique park.

Day 2 – Get Up Close to Wild Uganda
- Today, you have two exciting options: - If you didn’t explore the park the day before, set out on a walking safari through Lake Mburo National Park, renowned for its diverse wildlife. On foot, you’ll get an up-close look at the park’s animals. - Alternatively, if you explored the park earlier, visit a traditional Bahima homestead to learn about the cultural traditions and lifestyle of this local tribe. Activities include discovering the famous Ankole long-horned cows, trying your hand at milking, learning about ghee production, and tasting fresh milk—offering a fascinating insight into the Bahima way of life. After your chosen activity, continue your adventure to Lake Bunyonyi.

Day 3 – Lake Bunyonyi Exploration by Boat
- Embark on a private boat tour across Lake Bunyonyi, one of Uganda’s most tranquil and picturesque locations. Surrounded by terraced hills and dotted with 29 islands, it offers the perfect atmosphere for a peaceful morning.
- After the boat tour, begin your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Along the way, keep an eye out — wildlife such as elephants and antelope are often spotted even outside the park boundaries. Upon arrival, check in at the lodge and unwind after the day’s travel.

Day 4 – Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Safari
- Start your morning with a drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s top wildlife destinations. The park is known for its rich variety of animals, including lions, elephants, buffaloes and leopards.
- In the afternoon, set off on a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, home to one of the world’s largest hippo populations. You’ll glide past massive pods of hippos, crocodiles basking on the banks, and large herds of elephants and buffaloes coming to drink. Few places in Africa offer such consistent and close-up encounters with wildlife. Driving Time: N/A
Day 5 – Chimpanzee Trekkin & Kibale Adventure
While the family relaxes, one of the parents can set off early for an exciting chimpanzee trekking adventure in Kalinzu Forest. (Note that this activity is only available for visitors aged 12 and older). Led by expert trackers, this experience offers a rare chance to observe wild chimpanzees up close in their natural habitat.Once reunited, the whole family will continue to Kibale where they can choose from the following activities:- Visit a local tea plantation: Discover how Uganda’s tea is grown and processed. Walk through the fields, meet the pickers, and even try harvesting leaves yourself.- Guided walk through Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary: This community-run project offers more than nature. Learn about traditional coffee making, medicinal plants, local crafts, and how banana beer and gin are brewed.- Hike to nearby crater lakes: A scenic walk through lush terrain leading to serene volcanic lakes with stunning views.

Day 6 – Murchison Falls National Park
Continue your journey north to Murchison Falls, Uganda’s largest and oldest national park. The changing scenery along the way offers a beautiful preview of the wild landscapes that await. As you enter the park and drive through the savannah toward your lodge, keep your eyes open — wildlife like giraffes, elephants, and antelopes are often spotted even before you arrive.

Day 7 – Safari and Nile Adventure in Murchison Falls NP
- Start your day with a morning game drive as we search for the rest of the Big Five — lions, leopards, elephants, and buffaloes. Wildlife is very diverse here, with good chances of spotting giraffes, Uganda kobs, Jackson’s hartebeest, bushbucks, hyenas, and warthogs.
- In the afternoon, embark on a boat safari along the Nile, the longest river in the world, heading upstream to the base of Murchison Falls — the most powerful waterfall on the planet. Watch as the entire Nile squeezes through a narrow 7-meter-wide gorge before crashing 43 meters down with incredible force. Along the way, enjoy excellent wildlife viewing, spotting hippos, Nile crocodiles, and elephants along the riverbanks.

Day 8 – On Top of the World’s Most Powerful Waterfall
- We start the day with a final drive through Murchison Falls National Park. Early morning offers great chances to spot hyenas and other wildlife, so keep your camera ready. Our last stop in the park is the top of Murchison Falls — where the entire Nile surges through a 7-meter gap in the rock. The sound, the spray, and the sheer force make this one of Africa’s most dramatic natural sights.
- From here, we journey south toward Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary — Uganda’s only home to wild rhinos. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge and unwind. Rhinos often roam close to the accommodation, offering rare and memorable sightings right from your doorstep.

Day 9 – Rhino Trekking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Start your day with a rare and unforgettable experience — tracking rhinos on foot. This guided walking experience, led by expert rangers, allows you to approach these endangered giants safely and observe them at close range in their natural environment.
After the trek, continue your journey north to Ernebbe, where your final adventure awaits you tomorrow.

Day 10 – Lake Victoria Adventure & Search for the Dinosaur
- On your final day, head to the shores of Lake Victoria for a memorable shoebill trek in Mabamba Swamp. Begin with a motorboat ride before switching to a traditional dugout canoe, guided by local community members who know the swamp’s hidden paths. Glide quietly through the papyrus channels as you search for the legendary shoebill — a rare, prehistoric-looking bird found only in a few parts of Africa. It’s a peaceful, thrilling experience and a fitting finale to your Ugandan adventure.
